BrokerIPTV : Today we are talking with Gary Wolff, owner and operator of mytitleins.com.

Gary, thanks for being with us. Tell me a little bit about your background in Title Insurance.

Gary Wolff: Well I have been in the business approximately 32 years in Colorado, with some experience in Arizona and California. Basically started in sales and worked my way through quite a few different positions through some of the companies I worked for.

 
BrokerIPTV : So, this is a new venture MyTitleInsurance.com, is that right? Tell me a little bit about it?

 
Gary Wolff: Well, I got the idea about a year ago to bring forth little more resources to real-estate professionals, I thought there was a need for more information to be transferred some title companies to real-estate professionals in general.

 
BrokerIPTV : In the premise behind the site is?

Gary Wolff: The premise really is to, its kind of multi pass it did. One is to bring information for the benefit of the consumers. As I said it’s to bring information resources from title companies to the realtors and lenders and so forth and then it’s a new way that title companies can actually market their services as well.

 
BrokerIPTV : One of the features I saw in there is that you can actually shop around to different title insurance companies and see the cost that they charge, is that right?

 
Gary Wolff: Yeah, the basic premise is to bring the cost of aspect of title insurance to the forefront. So, people can have that ability to use the cost element when they are shopping for title company.

 
BrokerIPTV : Now, consumers – this would be of interest in consumers, although what do you think – of all your years in the business the consumers just kind of say “hey whatever my real-estate agent does or wherever he directs us, where we will get our title insurance” or do they really shop for themselves?

 
Gary Wolff: I would say the amount of consumer that shop or probably the same number of consumers that actually trying to sell their homes themselves. The purpose really of the website is to bring resources to real-estate professionals and those consumers that like to have their challenge of selling their own property.
