BrokerIPTV : I am here at Inman Connect in New York city 2008 a the Beer For Bloggers Event with Scott Sambucci, And Scott with Altos Research, Altos was the Inman Connect award winner in San Francisco for most innovative new product. And Scott may be you can answer some questions on why would I want to have Altos on my blog or my website? What does your product offer to the effect of real estate agents today?
Scott Sambucci: Right, that is a great question, we get that every day. Mostly we think about where people are coming to get market information, people start thinking about selling a home, buying a home it is the first thing they do. They go to the internet and they are doing a search. They want to know what is going on, how is the market? And so that is the reason people blog right. They want to be those, they want to be the people that show up, when you are doing a search on say Mamo park real estate [phonetic]. So the reason outsource is important, what we do is real estate market analytics. We do real time data that happens in updates every week. So by using our tools it is just basically a very simple chart you can add on to your website, you can essentially build on entire market statistics action to your blog that says show me medium price in Memo park, listing price in Menlo park, inventory days on market price per square foot any of those key markets stats you can do both of the city all the way down to the zip code level. So if you got somebody, Joe home buyer or seller logging on and they do a search memo park real estate and they see your blog and they get your blog. Not only do you have the content you have been developing or by all the community information, homes that are buying and selling. Now you have got all the market information, what is the medium price, what is the trends been in the medium price of the last 18 months. How is inventory this week? I noticed after the holiday season its been a big change in inventory levels. How does that affect me as a home buyer and seller. So now by having that content on your website it is really setting you apart from every other website and every other blog that just talking about, oh this community website is really good if you want to see what churches are in the area. So it is not just blogging but it is adding a content that people want and need and developing a stickiness to your site, because now people are coming and they are seeing these markets stats, they can track it week to week. All the data are always updated automatically. So now your website becomes a resource for people, not just the place to read.
BrokerIPTV : Wow excellent, is this something that brokers have to sign IDX agreement force, is it something like a widget, that I can just throw on my blog and you guys keep it for me.
Scott Sambucci: It is a very simple tool, you can go to our website, in fact and get a free widget and toy around with it, Altosresearch.com of course. Then of course we have subscription services as well. We get more advanced applications. But we get people every day, come at our site, grab a free chart, thrown on a blog and a say Oh look here is a free chart for medium price in Palo Alto. Look at the prices that have changed since the holiday seasons over. And it is free for some tools and then of course the subscription we could help you out with and get you up and running.
