BrokerIPTV: We are at Inman Connect New York and we are privileged to be at the Beer For Bloggers reception and to be interviewing Pete Flint with Trulia and Pete we just had a quick blush if you could may be explain how you came up with your mascot, the exclamation point?

Pete Flint: So you might have seen these funny green men jumping around at the trade shows and then so it is said it is a matt mockers and so like, so when you go on trulia.com, you see the map. And you see this little green pins on the map. So the pins are basically at mascot and they are icon and they are in a logo, they are in a brand, so we love these three men, so we created this entire mascots that you can you have a couple of guys in jumping around at different play sorts of stuff.
BrokerIPTV: We feel Inman are everyone, So Pete can you tell us a little about your business model. Has it changed from the beginning or you still staying on track or some things you are looking to do differently in the future?
Pete Flint: So we started back in September 2005 as a real estate search engines, so my goal is like see us with information and then provide access to that information on real estate broker and franchise sites. And so the way we make money is from advertising around the listings, such that we sort and thats why we are all today, so and that is going to continue, so we have about three to four million unique users this month. So we have a huge amount of users looking at the site, and then we can sell advertise around the listings. And we can also sell advertising for agents and brokers and feature their listings more prominently within the searches also another. No it is all going to change, there is plenty of money in the industry and we are pretty happy with things. trulia voices
